Committed to Making a Difference
Almost twelve years ago I made a campaign promise, that if I could not make Milpitas a better, safer, more vibrant city I would not run for reelection. And more than a decade later, I’m still here, making Milpitas a better place for every resident.
On the City Council, I have worked hard to ensure that during the hardest times, the residents of Milpitas received the needed services, and that the city we all love, continued and continues to thrive. I have learned what it takes to make our community vibrant, successful, and a safe place to raise a family.
Today, I’m asking for your support as I take more than a decade of experience with me to Sacramento as your next Assemblymember.
I grew up here, went to school here and now, my wife and I are raising our family here, and I’m concerned about our community’s future. As a city councilman and working as the Mayor’s Budget Director in San Jose I have seen firsthand the painful cuts that were needed during the economic downturn. I have worked hand in hand with firefighters, police officers, and businesses to make the best of what we had to work with. Now, as the economy returns, I want to make sure that the vital programs that had to be cut into can be returned and expanded upon.
But I can’t do it without your help.
Together, we can ensure that everyone in Assembly District 25 has a quality job, access to the best educational system, and the opportunity to thrive. I make that same campaign promise today as I did years ago: with your support, I will make this a community we can be proud of.
I hope you will join me as we work together to make Assembly District 25 – and all of California – a better place.
All the best,
